Paint The Town - Sexual Assault Awareness Month - April

Sexual Assault Awareness Month (SAAM) is a time for advocates, survivors, their loved ones, and the community to come together to talk openly about sexual violence to support survivors, increase knowledge and awareness, and identify strategies and resources to prevent sexual violence.Safe Passage supports this every year through our Paint the Town Teal Campaign, partnering with local businesses to paint windows in support of survivors of sexual assault and bring awareness to the community.

Domestic Violence Awareness Month (DVAM) is held each October as a way to unite advocates across the nation in their efforts to end domestic violence. Communities and advocacy organizations across the country connect with the public and one another throughout the month to raise awareness about the signs of abuse and ways to stop it, and to uplift survivor stories and provide additional resources to leaders and policymakers.

​This is an annual program where donor volunteers help meet the needs of our client families during the holiday season. We pair volunteers with a family and provide them with their holiday wish list. By adopting a family, you help relieve emotional and financial stress as they work to rebuild their lives after the trauma of abuse.

Giving Trees - December

Giving Trees - December

Donor volunteers and participating businesses can stop by our office to take tags off our Giving Trees and shop for the items on the tags. Shopping for the needs on our Giving Trees help meet practical needs for our clients and programs throughout the entire year, well beyond the holiday season.
