Engagement Opportunities

Help us Educate

Knowledge is the first step towards change and helping spread awareness is ground zero. We have several avenues to spread knowledge in our local community through our education outreaches.

To invite a representative to speak, contact us at (208) 664-9303.

Presentations Include...
  • Presentations to students on dating violence, healthy relationships, consent, and digital safety.

  • Green Dot bystander intervention training to schools and the community.

  • Onsite campus advocacy available at NIC and local high schools.

  • Help with support groups at alternative high schools, community organizations, and churches.

  • Jail presentations and advocacy response.

  • Education and training for community members, agencies, and institutions.

  • Outreach to private workplaces on sexual harassment prevention and response.

  • Assist with workplace procedures and policies for sexual assault and domestic abuse.

Become an Intern

Internship opportunities may include a wide range of direct client work with Safe Passage's programs and outreach that can be tailored to a student's educational needs and professional development.

Apply to become a board member

If you have leadership skills that could benefit Safe Passage, we welcome you to apply to become a board member as positions become available.

Open positions are currently not available at this time.

Volunteers/Interns who are selected for direct client opportunities, or for positions in which contact with survivors in the community are likely, must complete our 20-hour Crisis Intervention Training (CIT).

Follow us on social media to hear about our upcoming community engagement outreaches and events.

Add our phone and text line to your phone contacts to help someone in the future.
